This year we're very excited to be welcoming back principal clarinetist of the BBC Concert Orchestra, James Gilbert to perform Mozart's magnificent Clarinet Concerto having opened the concert with an arrangement of Debussy's "Prélude à l'Après-midi d'un faune". A work which has been described as "the beginning of modern music". Then after the interview we'll be rounding off the festival with Tchaikovsky's showstopping "Souvenir de Florence"
